- So, one of the thingsthat we're gonna do is a little family adventure day.
Kinda except it's not our whole family.
It's me and Jeremy andsome of the older kids, all piled into the J HouseVlog, what do you call this? - [Jeremy] The mini van.
- The J House Vlog van? - Wow, we need to name it.
- [Tim] Yeah.
- We're like The Van.
- The J Van.
(upbeat music) So, we're going to a compassion thing.
Compassion International is in town and they're doing a little thing where they're helping kids get an idea of what it's like tolive in other countries where maybe they don'thave as much as we do.
And that's something that's important for Dana and I really teach to our kids.
When they get older,we're going to take them to Haiti and do things andgive them different experiences and this will be kind oftaste for them I think.
- Downtown Kansas City! (upbeat music) - The way it works is thatthe kids and all of us are going to get headphones to listen to.
It's going to be an audio tourthat we're going to listen to as we walk through this experience and give the kids a glimpse into what other countriesand nations experience.
(peaceful guitar music) ♫ Life is but a moment ♫ Here before it's gone ♫ It passes by ♫ Not sure where it's going ♫ Fear of the unknown consumes my mind ♫ Keeps on moving ♫ All we have is where we are ♫ Bending underneath Do you see these cardshanging up behind us? They're kids that stillneed to be sponsored.
Those are kids thatare waiting for someone to able to provide them foodand clothing and medicine and education andeverything that they need to live and have a good life.
Someday we wanna do that, probably not today but sometime soon.
We're gonna start doing that with you guys and then we can all worktogether to help support them.
So, it'll be like ourown family team project.
And a few different experiences here, we finished the firstone which was Uganda.
The next one we're doing is in Guatemala.
It's different characterand it's a guy named Hose that we're going to be following.
We're waiting in line gettingready for the next one.
♫ Missing what's before me ♫ When I feel unsure and look behind ♫ Keeps on moving on and on ♫ All we have is where we are ♫ Bending underneath ♫ Water streaming from afar ♫ Life is but a dream I have some really old vlogsfrom my first trip to Haiti which I'll try to link updown below for you guys if you're interested in that.
Haiti is very close tomine and Dana's heart.
I love that country, pray for those people and that place has changedour lives in really big ways.
And it'll be cool to make somefood to send back to them.
(upbeat music) - [Jeremy] Yeah, you couldslide really quick through.
You got it? - [Tim] Ooh, that was a fast one.
I think it's so cool that we'regonna send these to Haiti, or they're going to send these to Haiti.
A little bit of that,a little bit of that.
Put that in.
Bag it up.
What did you guys think of that? Is that fun?- Yeah.
- [Tim] How does it make you feel to know that you worked reallyhard to make some meals for people in Haiti who wouldn'totherwise have a dinner? - Good.
- Is that good? - I love baking.
- You love that? - [Tim] You love baking? Yeah.
- And I really love serving.
- [Tim] Yeah, well youdid both right there.
That's like the highlightof your week then, huh? - Yeah.
- High five! The kids look like they're having a blast.
Jeremy put the sprinkler underneath the.
What is that? Trampoline so now they havetheir bathing suits on.
They're jumping around in the water.
Jeremy has his own littlemini sprinkler right there.
Ah, you're getting me, you're getting me.
The sprinkler, it's just underthere pointing straight up.
Wow.
- You go like this.
- [Tim] Halle's gonna getout and she's gonna play with Laura over in thelittle pool instead.
Now the big kids can jump all they want.
Woo! Wow Hannah, is it slippery? Wow, careful.
Is this better for you, Halle? You like this better? They have all sorts of fun water stuff at their house, don't they? And a little table also.
And Halle, look, there's your own littlesprinkler system, right there.
(upbeat music) I don't even think that'sToby's bathing suit.
Toby, are you wearing a bathing suit? Or that just your shorts and diaper? - That's his swimsuit.
- [Tim] That's not his bathing suit.
I don't think it is, oh well.
Too late (laughs) to do anything now.
Those kids are havingso much fun together.
Kinda like they've known each other all their life or something.
They're all BFFs now.
(upbeat music) And now it's raining offeringthem even more water.
(laughs) They're super excited.
Rain and then hoses and sprinklers.
Best day ever.
(upbeat music) What do you got for dinner there, Zeke? What is that? You got some nachos, you made? That looks good.
Hannah, you got some.
- Just no cheese.
- With cheese? Oh, no cheese, no cheese.
- No cheese.
- [Tim] And Elise hassome watermelon and corn.
- [Elise] I ate my taco.
- Yeah, was it good?- First thing? - [Tim] Getting ready to eat mine.
They made a wonderful buffet.
You just walk aroundmaking your own taco stuff.
Is yours all gone, Toby? - Yeah.
- [Tim] Do you want more? - Yeah.
- [Tim] Do you want me to take your plate? I'll go get you some more, okay? Are you two pretty muchlike best friends now? - Yeah.
- Mmhmm.
- [Tim] Do you guys like each other? Hanging out, having fun? - Yeah.
What about you two? Are you guys like best friends now? - We're pretty good friends.
- [Tim] Yeah? It looks like you'rehaving a fun time playing.
- He's the only friend that I know that actually plays Stratego.
- For those of you that don't know, Stratego is like a boardgame and it's really fun.
I use to play it when I was a kid.
Now Zeke and I play it at home together on family adventure days.
So Zeke is already trained and skilled in the strategy of Stratego.
He's giving Isaac a run for his money.
Did you win? - Almost.
- Almost? - I played it against Isaac like one or two times and I lost.
- Aw, you'll get better.
- That's okay.
- The only person thatcan beat me is my dad.
- Oh really? It's just fun to see thekids all playing together and how much fun they have just naturally like in the car, going places, hanging out around the house.
They are the most giggly fun, laughy kids.
You're like, "Guys, is it possible for you "to have any less fun together? Like could you do that? Could you pull that off?.
